
BOATING SAFELY PROGRAM
The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 17-11 is offering
their BOATING SAFELY program to the general public.
This one day program meets the requirements of the National
Association of State Boating Administrators and may allow insurance
discounts. The session covers a wide variety of subjects including;
selecting your boat, safety equipment, boat handling, Aids to navigation
and rules of the waterways. The presentation utilizes the most current
computer techniques. This program will also include topics on Homeland
Security, Carbon Monoxide Intoxication, Hypothermia, Non Native Nuisance
Species.
Courses are held at the Bass Pro Shops

The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 17-11 holds a Free
Vessel Check for the general public. The inspection covers State &
Federal Requirements. If your boat meets all requirements you will be
issued a very impressive Vessel Safety Check Sticker.
